Dr Leah Rubin

Clinical Director

As humans, we have seasons where we feel lost or in pain. I offer compassionate, evidence-based therapy. As a psychologist, I see my clients as partners in the process of healing. I respect the wisdom that you bring into the room, your understanding of yourself and your history-- and make room for the pieces of yourself that you find difficult to understand. I aim to build on this insight and to utilize my expertise to help you live your best life.

My approach is present-focused, active and tailored to your individual needs. I am anchored in the Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) tradition and integrate other approaches when helpful. Above all, I work to create an environment where you can feel connected to me and to the work we are doing together.

Dr Rachel Zomick

Staff Psychologist

We all experience things that can be challenging to talk about; strong emotions, difficult thoughts, and uncomfortable feelings. Sometimes, it can feel like you’re drowning in your own thoughts. Let’s work it out together. I help people find peace and happiness in their lives again. Through treatments that have been proven to work, you can start to reclaim your thoughts and your life.

I specialize in treating OCD and anxiety-based disorders including Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (such as post- partum anxiety and depression). While I specialize in CBT, I am comfortable using other modalities to best meet the needs of each client. I offer a free initial session so you can get a sense of what it will be like working together. Reach out and let's speak.

Dr Shayna Goldstein

Staff Psychologist

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a passion for treating individuals struggling with OCD and anxiety. I have a strong background in exposure and response prevention and employ cognitive behavioral interventions in a flexible and supportive manner. I do my best to empower you as the client to approach challenges and make changes at a pace that feels right to you.

I also have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. My approach is collaborative, active and present-focused. I'd be honored to work with you to find the tools that move you towards your therapeutic goals such as emotion regulation, navigating relationships, or self-acceptance.

I received my doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D) from Hofstra University and was a student clinician in the Diagnostic and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders. I completed my internship at Bio Behavioral Institute, receiving rigorous training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and the treatment of OCD and other anxiety disorders.  I went on to pursue a post-doctorate at Northwell Health's Zucker Hillside Hospital.
