I have specialized training in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders more generally. I utilize exposure and response prevention, the gold standard in the treatment of OCD. It has been humbling to be a part of my clients' journeys as they break out of crippling patterns and open up possibilities in their lives that before seemed impossible.
Virtual Realty Exposure Therapy for Phobias
I utilize virtual reality technology to increase the effectiveness of treatment for phobias and other anxiety disorders like dental phobia, also known as dentophobia. Research shows that virtual reality significantly reduces length of treatment and is highly effective for phobias such as fear of flying or fear of public speaking, among many others.
Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADS)
1 in 5 women experience postpartum depression, making it the most common complication of pregnancy. From trying to conceive to welcoming a baby or experiencing a loss, I recognize the complexities of these life stages and offer a compassionate space in which to navigate them.
